Whoa!
I'm lying in my freshly-made bed, tummy full of ravenously eaten food, feeling like the room is spinning.
Very discombobulating!
The missing piece of my visual field seems to be upsetting my equanimity? It's hard to explain. If I look straight ahead, all is fine, but scanning around the room makes me feel like the room is moving, and my gut doesn't like it.
So I've set up my first-class pillow arrangement (one under each arm, one behind head, bed head raised 45 degrees), and I will lie here with a towel on my head (to keep warm), and wait to see what drug they'd like to give me. Odansetron and maxalon helped this morning, though the latter was an injection. Stemetil worked well for vertigo when I had it during chemo...
I never wanted to learn this much about medicine!
Think of me, lying with a towel on my head, looking straight ahead. I must be a sight!
