It will be good to get out of hospital and feel the sun on my skin, the wind on my face, and the soil beneath my feet again.
We'll probably stay in Hobart until the next surgery, rather than returning home to Launceston. I need to recharge my batteries quickly, and the thought of driving up and back, even though it only takes 2.5 hours, isn't appealing. It will be nice to simply have a relaxing time in Hobart, and be ready for the next round of neurosurgery. (is this karmic payback for the number of patients I enthusiastically freaked out by extolling the wonder and beauty of brain surgery? Neuropsychs, beware!)
I'm going to have a nap now, and hope that I wake without the dull pain above my right ear. I'm feeling tired, but am enjoying the daylight and the sound of cars skitting by my window.
Love and peace to you all
